Version:           1.9.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from:    Debian testing/unstable Packages
Compiler:          Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-kanotix-1

Since I yesterday updated kmail from 1.9.1 to 1.9.3, it gots very slow.
When I delete a mail, move one into another folder or select another mail, kmail freezes more seconds and does nothing. Same, when I download new mails or do other manipulations in kmail.

I updated it with apt-get dist-upgrade under debian.
Today I downgraded again to 1.9.1 and the problem is away!

Could it be that I have to rebuild the configuration?
And how to do it?

I have 2 mail accounts configured with dimap.
The folder ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/ includes 230MB in about 1500 mails.

Is this still a problem in recent kmail versions?
