Description Adrien Guillon 2006-08-04 21:21:47 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)

It would be nice if all trash folders were emptied on exit, rather than just local ones (e.g. IMAP). I notice that the menu option "Empty All Trash Folders" does just this, why not have that logic executed at exit if the option is set? I understand changing the configuration key right now will break a lot of things, but perhaps we can create another key that says "Empty ALL Trash folders on exit?"

As this is still not possible with the latest versions, I would like to have this be done in the future. It's a very useful thing to let KMail do this on exit, because it's very annoying to do this with some extra clicks manually before leaving.

I still lack this functionality... Would be great if someone could implement it.

Done in kde 4.4.x (don't know when it was added)

I see only "empty LOCAL trash folder on program exit". But it should empty also the remote ones on IMAP-accounts.

I'm using 4.5.1 with kmail 1.13.5.
