Description Stephan Sokolow 2006-08-04 08:59:28 UTC
Version: 1.3.91 (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.4.5 (Gentoo 3.4.5-r1, ssp-3.4.5-1.0, pie-8.7.9)
OS: Linux

When I was using GQView, I got used to being able to scroll to very near where I wanted by using the arrow keys on the keyboard.

With GwenView's current keyboard scroll increment (nearly half a screenful), that becomes impossible.

I'd like to request a new preferences entry to adjust the increment.

Just started a KDE3 Gwenview for fun, can confirm this indeed has been a problem. Nevertheless, this has been fixed already in KDE4 times.

As in nearly every other application, just use the arrow keys to fine-tune the position, and PgUp and PgDn to scroll in larger increments.

Having a separate preference would be overkill, though.
