Description Matthias 2006-08-01 20:37:53 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

My mouse has five Buttons and a mouse wheel. However, they're hardly of any use to me because to configure them I'd have to fiddle around with IMWheel and i really can't be bothered... A nice tool to configure those buttons would be really handy :)

Opensuse 11.2 removed the functionality to set mouse behavior from sax2. This allowed, for example, third mouse buttons to be used to emulate scroll wheel behavior. The justification for the removal is that the desktop (KDE, GNOME, etc.) can setup the desired mouse behavior.

KDE 4.3 does not appear to support this functionality, and it would be nice if future versions did.

Since nobody seems to care, this probably shouldn't stay open.
