Description Matthieu Moy 2006-07-31 23:29:17 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.3, Debian Package 4:3.5.3-1 (testing/unstable))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17-1-486

blend transition with OpenGL is deadly slow on my machine (recent machine, without accelerated drivers for my videocard).

OTOH, even javascript applications manage to do a good job for blend transitions, on the same machine. It must be possible to write such transition without using OpenGL (maybe not as smooth, but with just 3 or 4 intermediate images, it would already be nice).

Thanks for the good work.
