Description Stefan Haun 2006-07-24 17:56:27 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

Kontact crashes then a shutdown is triggered via DCOP. This happens, when I shutdown the system or activate the call manually from the DCOP console. Appointments created and my imap folder configuration are lost after the crash.

A workaround is to close kontact manually before shutdown and to start it manually after boot, but this is not really a nice solution.

I my preferences, I have the kmail icon activated and shown when kontact is in the background.

Please contact me if further information is needed to reproduce the crash.

Do you get a backtrace? If so, please paste it here

Well, I do not have any debugging symbols, but I post the trace given by KCrash. Maybe the lower half can be of help.
