Description Roberto Sarrionandia 2006-07-23 19:36:13 UTC
Version: 0.12.1 (using KDE 3.4.2 Level "b" , SUSE 10.0)
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-15.11-default

When a contact has a longer than usual display name and the conversation window is made smaller, the timestamp overlaps the contacts display name making it illegible.

I have only seen the bug on the "clear" style chat window, clean works fine.

I can confirm that bug with kopete 0.50.80 from Kubuntu packages. "Clear" lets Nickname and Timestamp overlap, where "Clean" does a line break to avoid that.

I can confirm this bug with Kopete 0.99.90, "Kopete" and "Clean" work well, "Clear" still lets Nickname and Timestamp overlap.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
