I'm unable to put a simple line break in a status message. The status editing window should be a multiline editbox (sorry for this name, but I don't know how this widget is named) with an pull-down menu for selecting previously saved statuses. Selecting one should copy it to the edit box and make it editable.

No idea since when, but it seems fixed at least in Kopete 1.0 / SC 4.4.1.
