Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1) Installed from: SuSE RPMs Bug #112107 was marked "resolved" due to the fact the underlying component has changed, however the problem still remains -- video files and (I presume) audio files don't export all that well. The request is (was) to use a standard image (typically, the mimetype icon per the file's actual type) and create a downloadable link to the actual content of the file instead of the broken graphic thumbnail. Basically, wrap an <a href=... tag around the <img> tag. I just created a couple of albums of a wedding I attended over the weekend, and manually "fixed up" the "broken image" links this way

New Kipiplugins 4.11.0 is available : https://www.digikam.org/node/740 Can you reproduce the problem with this release ? Gilles Caulier
The global concept to handle non type mimed files in digiKam is not support and will never supported. Unclassified types of media in a collection manager will give a big mess. You must to be rigourous to catalog files, especially with big collection. I close this file as wont fix. Gilles Caulier
