Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc-Version 3.4.6 (Gentoo 3.4.6-r1, ssp-3.4.5-1.0, pie-8.7.9) OS: Linux Whenever I do changes in the "File" -> "Edit Album" (like change of encoding or change the "Various Artists" flag) dialoge they are simply ignored. Selected tracks are unselected after pressing "Ok" (what I would not consider a bug, just FYI)
Some additional info: - The ID3 tags seem to be encoded in the current locale always. Since my local id de_DE.UTF-8 and many applications (such as amarok, juk, Konqueror file meta data and Apple iPod nano) have problems with utf-8. If I unset my locale or set it so iso-8859-1 the id3 tags or ok, but the file- and directory names are messed up.
