Description Stephan Sokolow 2006-07-11 21:31:08 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.4.5 (Gentoo 3.4.5-r1, ssp-3.4.5-1.0, pie-8.7.9)
OS: Linux

I often find myself forgetting to save things in KEdit because every other tool I use is set to auto-save every 1-5 minutes. (Power can be a bit unstable here and I can't affort a UPS right now)

Would it be overly troublesome to add a timer-based auto-save option?

Wishing for things in non-existent software doesn't tend to be useful. Feel free to refile against kate or something if this hasn't been implemented.
