Description Andrew Whittaker 2006-07-09 01:16:24 UTC
Version: 1.9.1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

When a thread has been set to ignore using Ignore Thread and it contains any unread or new messages, it appears in the message list when the quicksearch status filter is set to unread or new. All the messages in the "ignored" thread are displayed as read, that is in black, not blue or red.

It looks like the new messages in the ignored thread aren't automatically being marked as read as they should be, but just being displayed as read.

Still valid in KDE 4.3

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
