Description Christopher J. Bottaro 2006-07-07 02:17:47 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

Some packages (like Sun's Java) require user interaction (i.e. for the user to type YES or something) to install. A few times I've tried to install a package and it seemed like Adept froze, but then I found out it was just waiting for user input...which I couldn't give it.

The only way I could cancel the install was to kill Adept and that left apt (or dpkg?) in some weird state that I had to fix.

Thanks.

I'm no adept wrangler, but this is an obvious dupe.
