(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: Konqueror Version: 1.9.3b (KDE 2.0 RC2) Severity: normal When I enter a secure Internet web page e.g. by going to http://www.fortify.net/sslcheck.html the security icon in the toolbar doesn= 't=20 show that it's a secure page (it isn't "locked") and the SSL information= =20 window also says that the connection is not secured although Fortify tells = me=20 that the line is secure and uses a 168 bit encryption. I activated the=20 warning on entering a secure web page and this comes up but there's still n= o=20 change of the toolbar icon or the SSL status. I'm using the latest OpenSSL= =20 library I could find (0.9.6 beta 2). Thus the main part is loaded in SSL but the state gets reset by the non-ssl part. Look for a fix in 2.1. Your connection _is_ SSL safe though. -- George Staikos
