(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: kscd Version: KDE 2.0 RC2 Kscd version 1.3.0 (from KDE2 RC2) often reads different Disk IDs than Kscd version 1.2.7 (of KDE 1.1.2). The following table contains examples: Kscd- | version | CD1 | CD2 | ... --------+----------------------------------------------------------------- 1.2.7 | 54103017 | 4f0c8a16 | 5d11a518 | 0d114022 | c008500f | ed0ac611 1.3.0 | 54102f17 | 4f0c8916 | 5d11a418 | 0d114022 | c008500f | ed0ac511 The Kscd 1.2.7 IDs are the right ones (BTW. Krabber 0.4.4 has the same). I'm running a standard SuSE 7.0 box but I had these problems with SuSE 6.4 too (on the same machine). Ole (olaf@punkbands.de)
