my ftp username contains a %. There's nothing I can do about that. It's NetworkSolutions convention. I tried to use ftp://glassplank%0059241@205.178.145.227 but konqueror kept omitting everything after % up until @ In effect konqueror keeps leaving out half of my username. Try my ftp address in the konqueror location or in new bookmark. I used the same username in other ftp clients without a problem. I like konqueror because of its drag n' drop capabilities.

As a workaround you can replace %-mark with %25, e.g. glassplank%250059241.
