Version: 1.9.3 (using KDE 3.5.3, Mandriva Linux Cooker x86_64 - Cooker) Compiler: Target: x86_64-mandriva-linux-gnu OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.12-22mdk In kmail i opened to write a mail and then i opened another message window, then i put the mouse in the To: address and dragged it to the other message window and did drop it there but for my surprise it pasted a very weird thing. This is the addres i dragged -> Giuseppe <giusepe@email.com> This is what was dropped -> Giuseppe =?utf-8?q?Ghib=C3=B2?= <giusepe@email.com> As you see isnt the same thing... Im using kmail from kdepim from branch_3.5 revision 554129
I didnt put the correct example: This is the addres i dragged -> Giuseppe Ghibò <giusepe@email.com> This is what was dropped -> Giuseppe =?utf-8?q?Ghib=C3=B2?= <giusepe@email.com> So as you see kmail isnt able to handle characters/vogals that have accents, so instead pasting Ghibò it pastes =?utf-8?q?Ghib=C3=B2?=
