Description Chris Connett 2006-06-27 15:30:07 UTC
Version: 1.4.1_beta1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc 3.4.6
OS: Linux

I find that I often have a dynamic playlist running, and when managing tracks with the collection browser I will click on say an album or artist and accidentally select "Load" which obliterates my current playlist as it should (unless the placement of the "Load" button is also worthy of being a usability bug, but that's up to you).

The problem comes when I use undo to restore my playlist. When it was a dynamic playlist, it restores the tracks previously there, but not the fact that it was running a dynamic playlist. I'll have a static playlist with the tracks previously on the playlist at the moment it was killed. It will not repopulate as tracks are played. Also, grayed out played tracks are not grayed out anymore.

I can still reproduce this with Amarok 1.4.8.
However it is not possible to fix this in Amarok 1.4.x as the code restircts this. It should be possible in Amarok 2. If it is still a problem in Amarok 2 when we release it please file a new bug.

Thank you for your report.
