Version: 3.5.2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.2) Installed from: Unspecified Linux Compiler: gcc 4.0 -march=pentium-m -O2 OS: Linux I am using an Asus M2N with the Intel 855 GM chipset. When Xinerama is turned on, the kicker panel does not hide. It sometimes hides when windows are manipulated extensively, but this does not have anything in common with the mouse cursor position. Furthermore, it does not match the chosen hiding interval in any obvious way. I have already noticed this strange behaviour even in a single head layout. In that case, any change to the configuration dialog (undone right afterwards and confirmed by the "Apply" button) restored law and order. Unfortunately, this approach does not help in dual-head layouts.
I've noticed this too. I've just switched from a single head configuration to a dual head configuration (using a Geforce 6600 and KDE 3.5.5 in both cases). Kicker will often get "stuck" in visible mode, although it sometimes will hide itself again later, but I've yet to find any good way to coax it into hiding again. One interesting thing to note is that when I moved kicker on to screen two from screen one, this problem seems to go away completely. Likewise with kicker spanning both screens.
This is still an issue with KDE 3.5.6.
... and still in KDE 3.5.7 ! With an other bug : when the bar is in hidden mode, I can't move windows from one screen to another. Well in KDE 4, kicker will be no more, so don't act !
