Description Michael Brunn 2000-10-15 15:28:10 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: knode
Version: 0.3.2 (KDE 2.0 Release Candidate 2)
Severity: wishlist
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)
OS: Linux 2.2.16 i686 (compiled sources)

Please add a option to define a newsreader 'default' so that he is contacted on program startup
(like kmail's --check option to fetch new mails on startup)?

To increase speed you could give a option so that on startup only the number of unread msgs. is shown
after clicking a newsgroup the downloading of all headers is done.

Add a option to blend out read messages from the thread-list. It's quite hard to look for one unread msg.
if there are alle the 1500 displayed...

Just use the the "Threads with unread" filter or activate the unread-option
in the filter you use.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
