Description Stevan White 2006-06-18 13:22:23 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

kcmshell [kdeinit] System/serviceconfig

I click on a service, then change the run level.
Now a different service is selected (always the first in the list).

I would prefer for my selected service to remain selected and visible in the panel when I switch services. (Given that the services in the list don't change from one runleve to another, this should be easy to accomplish.)

(This originally erroneously reported as bug# 128889)

There's no such module System/serviceconfig in KDE.

oh, please, Thiago.

Why not help me out here?

I'm trying my best to report a bug using the interface you provide. I'm being a team player. OK. Let's try handing the ball back to you:

I go to the KDE menu, to the "Settings" item. Under "System Administration" I find "Runlevel Editor (System Services)". A ps gives me

kcmshell [kdeinit] System/serviceconfig

(I try clicking the "Help" button, but as often happens, nothing at all.)

Now, how do I place this request? Be nice.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Kcontrol has been replaced by System Settings in Plasma. Please give the latest version of that a try, and open a new bug in "systemsettings" if you continue to have an issue. Thank you!
