Version: 3.4.2 (using KDE KDE 3.4.2) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux In Tools>Find File if I search for 'linux' I get all the /linux directories on the disk. If I search for 'fs.h' I get all the fs.h files on the disk. If I search for 'linux/fs.h' (or '*/linux/fs.h') I get nothing. This seems inconsistent and confusing at best, wrong at worst.
I'd say this is correct, as you can only specify a file _name_ but not a path+name. Changing to wish
I don't mean to be querulous but the tool does find folders by name, not just files. This is what seems inconsistent to me. Kfind in 4.6 can search for files+folders, files, folder and many may file types. So a I se no reason to leave this bug/wish open, it is resolved as fixed. Objections?
Resolved in later versions of KFind. (tested and working under v24.08.4) Bug report closed as it relates to a very old and unmaintained version of KFInd.
