Version: 1.12 (using KDE 3.4.2 Level "b" , SUSE 10.0) Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-15.10-smp The total crash seems to have been covered already. The stalling does not. If I use KSysGuard to check performance the first couple of tracks are ripped OK and encoding proceeds. The system then almost stops with only one processor doing any work and that very lightly loaded. After about 30 seconds the ripping proceeds. This can happen several times while ripping and encoding but I do not recall it happening once all tracks have been ripped and just encoding in progress. I am encoding 3 tracks simultaneously. System is Dell PE6300 with 4x PIIIs with 1Mb cache running at 550MHz and 3Gb memory installed. I have a log file of the crash.
If the logged error file will help please Email me and I shall send. Regards, Alastair
