Description Matthias Kirschner 2006-06-02 22:27:26 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

Often I got contact over other people. I would like to add the information who refered me to this contact.

E.g. I don't know how to solve a problem but contact A does. He ask me to contact B to solve the problem. I've not know B before.

It would be very useful if I could link contact A with contact B.

For instance, in the contact sheet for A there is a remark: got me in contact with B, in the sheet of B, there is a remark: A refered my to him.

If I have a problem in future, I can look if the contact I want to ask delegated me to others before, so perhaps I can contact them instead of him.

Perhaps this contact-networks can be visualised by other applications as well?

Thank you very much!

The development of the old KAddressBook will be discontinued for KDE 4.4.
Since the new application has the same name, but a completly new code base we close all bug reports against the old version and ask the submitters to resend there reports against the new product.
