Installed from:    SuSE RPMs
OS:                Linux

When editing kmenu, any items or submenus I add or remove are saved but if I add seperators, they do not appear in the menu afterwards.
Also, it will not save items in the order I created them, it only shows items in alphabetical order.
I find the default menus cluttered and difficult to find what I want so I'm trying to customize it to suit my needs but it is impossible if it is going to ignore my changes.

Suse 10.1 and kde 3.5.2

Not sure about the KDE3 era, but the separators appears as expected in the classic menu in KDE SC 4.9
