Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Would it be possible to have as an option for the kmail tray icon to hide when there is no unread mail. I know there is already an option like this, but I have a problem with it's functionality. The behaviour I would like is for the icon/app to be moved to the hidden group (when hidding is enabled in system tray), this way if I need to check or send mail I click arrow and icon. Thus saving space on my tray and enabling easy access.
This bug applies to KMail in KDE 4.4.x as well. A sequela of this bug is that closing the KMail window when the system tray icon is hidden causes KMail to close entirely. (When the system tray icon is not hidden, closing the KMail window merely minimizes KMail to the system tray.)
Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented. Thank you for your understanding.
Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
