I think that in the KDE file dialog one should have the opportunity to show/hide file information, e.g. file type, permissions, owner, group, etc, when using detailed view. This can be done in konqueror with the View -> Show Details menu items.

Moving from "kio/kfile" component to "kfile" product, helps sorting out duplicates.
