Description Raúl 2006-05-26 10:32:29 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

I open a .odt document written in OOo. It contains a table of contents. When I right click on the chapter number in the content table I have a crash, which backtrace I attach.

I also attach an example document.

As is could be a little tricky to get the right click position, I will explain it a little better.
When you open the doc, you will see "1 Introduction........". If you place the cursor just above the '1', the cursor will change into a finger on a hand. Once you have this, you should move the cursor to the right to the point that the finger cursor, turns into the default pointer. When you have this, press right click mouse button.

This is a crash in libaspell. Please check http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125487 - does that help?
Comment 5 Raúl 2006-05-26 16:03:55 UTC
Indeed it helped, but I haven't solved the problem, simply avoided it. I changed the language in the Kword preferences/spell.

I guess I should report this problem to the aspell-es maintainer, anyway I don't see why the whole kword should crash for a problem in a helper library/application.

This bug could be considered as a duplicate of #125487.

That's how crashes go. If any code (including in a library) crashes, the application crashes.
Yes, please report to the aspell maintainer.
