Version: 3.5.2 (using KDE 3.5.2, Debian Package 4:3.5.2-2+b1 (testing/unstable)) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-1-k7 KDE version: 3.5.2 (Debian Testing) Nvidia version: 8178 Bug: When a file icon is hovered with the mouse cursor and the meta data tooltip in kfmclient is being displayed with fade-in effect, then another file icon is immediately hovered, the tooltip for the second file meta data displays a 'snapshot image' from another part of the screen during the 'fade out' phase of the tooltip. The 'desktop' icons do not exhibit this behaviour. Reproduction: Using Nvidia Geforce FX 5900 with "RenderAccel" and xorg "Composite" enabled. Translucency Effects/Shadows in kwin settings enabled: -Translucency- Active Windows (100%) Inactive Windows (66%) Moving Windows (25%) Dock Windows (90%) Treat "keep above" windows as active ones. Disable ARGB windows. -Effects- Fade in windows. Fade between opacity changes. Fade in speed (70) Fade out speed (14) -Hover any file icon in konqueror file manager with fade-in/out effects enabled until tooltip is displayed. -Hover another file icon in konqueror file manager while tooltip from previous hover is displayed.
