Description Ulrich Gemkow 2006-05-16 13:29:28 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc 3.4 Fedora Core 3
OS: Linux

Hello,

we are using korganizer with an external resource (ox - Open Xchange Server).
When changing events a dialog box appears which asks for confirmation of sending
the change event to the external resource (server). This is ok (besides
the fact, that the dialog appears two times - see bug No.

When changing an event with mouse-drag-and-drop and releasing the mouse
button, the dialog box appears which asks for confirmation. But the
mouse pointer is still pinned to the events chart and the event moves
with the mouse when trying to move the mouse to the ok button in the
dialog box. When ok was pressed, the event is at the correct position.

So there is missing a mouse release when the dialog box is created.

Please tell me whether this is understandable and when you need more
info.

Thanks for your efforts and greetings

Ulrich Gemkow

This bug is still present in 3.5.3
Comment 2 Reinhold Kainhofer 2006-11-02 18:53:03 UTC
Reassigning all KOrganizer bug reports and wishes to the newly created
korganizer-devel mailing list.
Comment 3 Sergio Martins 2011-07-08 18:56:25 UTC
Can you still reproduce, with 4.6. ?
Comment 4 Denis Kurz 2016-09-24 18:42:31 UTC
This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korganizer (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Comment 5 Denis Kurz 2017-01-07 22:06:14 UTC
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
