Version: 1.9.1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.2) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux In Hungarian (as well as in some Far-Eastern languages) family name is written first and given name(s) is/are written after it. So, for example, John von Neumann's real name in correct Hungarian order and accents is Neumann János. Kaddressbook could be set up to display names in reverse order (what is the correct order in Hungarian), or reverse order with a comma between the family name and the given names. However, Kmail doesn't respect this setting and when I start to type in a recipient's name, it _always_ puts a comma there, which is quite annoying. So, to use the example above, Kmail would display "Neumann, János". The double quotes are another minor annoyance. I understand that the relevant RFC (I forgot the number, sorry) requires double quotes when there's a comma in the name; but if there weren't any commas, we wouldn't need double quotes. So I'd like to ask the Kmail developers to make Kmail respect this setting of Kaddressbook. A less preferable solution would be a Kmail distinct option for this. :)
