Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2) Installed from: SuSE RPMs I imagine such feature (triggered by defined by the user shortcut) as showing the mouse cursor 5x zoomed, 5x zoomed inversed colors, 4x zoom, 4x zoomed inversed, ...., 1 x zoom, 1 x zoom inversed. And several (configurable; max. zoom factor also) times again. Or much more cooler effects would be great, like in games, when the colorful cirle is spinning around. I would appreciate anything -- it often happens to me, when working in the sun I am loosing the track of the mouse cursor and it takes time to find it :-)

KDE4 has the little stars that appear if you turn on desktop effects and enable the track mouse effect and press Ctrl + meta but this sounds like a better idea.
There is an option under visual effects to highlight the current mouseposition (default shortcut Ctrl+Alt) ... I think this bug is obsolete now.
Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Kcontrol has been replaced by System Settings in Plasma. Please give the latest version of that a try, and open a new bug in "systemsettings" if you continue to have an issue. Thank you!
