Description Filipe Tavares 2006-05-13 18:51:12 UTC
Version: 1.4-beta3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

When CDDB information is loaded for an album that contains a song title with the '=' char, the song title is incorrectly parsed. For example: when listening to Hail to the Thief by Radiohead, the song "2 + 2 = 5" will appear as "5" instead. The same happens for "Cause = Time" by Broken Social Scene (the title appears as "Time"). Therefore, the parser must be looking for the last '=' char instead of the first one.

Did you use the xine engine for playing this cd? If so, then I'd say this is a xine bug.
Comment 2 Kevin Funk 2007-05-10 20:29:50 UTC
Still reproducible?

Forwarded to xine bug tracker, #1762699.

The original reporter doesn't give any information, so we just assume it's a backend bug (it probably is anyway).

Thanks to Sergey for reporting to xine.
