Description Luciano Montanaro 2006-05-10 11:34:04 UTC
Version: 1.6.2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

This problem has been made evident to me by gcc which now uses fancy quotes, and manpages seem to use a non-ascii hyphen character.

The installed font actually has the needed unicode glyphs the font is the "10x20" misc fixed font distributed wit X (using it in xterm works), however in konsole the same characters are shown as empty rectangles.

What's odd is that other sizes work correctly.
I assume for some reason the wrong encoding is selected for the font? Latin1 (and some latin2) characters are shown.
