Description Robert Moore 2006-05-09 17:56:41 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

Typically there may be several windows open on a desktop. It would be nice to have the option of having KWin automatically check, and then open all new window-based applications in whatever desktop area is available.

This may be on one of the multiple desktop views (if the desktop is set up that way). Alternatively, the actual number of desktops could be dynamically changed, such that the user starts with only one desktop, until they open an application, when, according to the user's (or the default) settings, on a new desktop.
