Description Maciej Pilichowski 2006-05-08 13:54:01 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Such mode would be very helpful. The first tab with KMail folders, mails and preview as today. Next tabs with composer instances. It would look like konqueror with tabs. This way there would be only one instance of kmail since composer would be a tab in kmail.

If my idea is unclear, I could create an image with such futuristic :-) kmail.

Yes, tabs instead of windows would be awesome. Though tabs should also be for mails, not only composer instances. If there will be tabs, they could be used for images, videos and web pages if someone would want to implement gwenview, kaffeine and konqueror.
Image, video, web tabs should be separated from mail, composer instances and current display. Multimedia tabs should be inside mail's tab.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
