When I have several windows of Kate, each opened on a separate desktop, and that I click in a Konqueror window on a new file to be opened, the file get opened on the first desktop where Kate is available instead of the current desktop whether Kate is opened on it or not.

For example, a Kate window is opened on desktop 2 and another one on desktop 3. I'm on desktop 3. I click a file and it get opened in the background on desktop 2. The same happens if I close Kate on desktop 3 and keep on opening files.

But maybe this is a bug in KDE which search for the already opened apps through all desktops starting from the first one instead of the current one.
