I would like to see a feature to save forwarded messages as regular emails to a mail folder, as if I had received them directly. 

This is especially useful, if a colleague forwards the a complete email folder with many messages.

Inline display of forwarded emails is very slow (with many messages) and does not allow the use of normal search tools.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
