Description Eira Monstad 2006-04-26 18:20:13 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux

The times "ti på halv #", "fem på halv #" and "halv #" are wrong in the Norwegian nb translation of the fuzzy clock. They are always one hour behind the correct time. All other times are correct.

This is the same bug as is described in bug 51436, but that report was marked fixed years ago. The problem still occurs in a standard Fedora Core 5 install of KDE.

That's probably because in Norwegian, you say "halv ni" (half 9) when you mean half-past-8. I'm not sure the fuzzy clock engine is capable of dealing with that.

There's no way to translate "half past HOUR" to "half HOUR+1".

Somewhat related to #87287.

That's wrong. There's a "hack" in clockapplet that allows %0 to be translated as %1, to indicate "hour+1". I'll fix nb's clockapplet.po.
