Version: 1.9.1 (using KDE 3.5.2 Level "a" , SUSE 10.0 UNSUPPORTED) Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-15.8-default The context menu for folders has a different layout compared to the main "Folder" menu. At first sight you assume both menu's are identical, but some features they are only found in either one of the menu's. This becomes confusing when you're looking for certain options. This includes: - "Mailing list management" (only in main menu, used by be in the context menu too). - delete and move to trash are swapped. - separators are at different positions. - the "New subfolder" option is named differently in the main menu, but both options do the same. - Expire/compact options cannot be not found in the main menu. Please take care to fix this problem.. Thanks in advice!
The menus now differ for usability reasons, but you have some valid points there. PS: I agree with you 100%, despite the usability reports.
Thanks a lot for the quick feedback and positive response. :-) Does this mean the menu will stay the same for now, or is open for discussion?
The nitpicking (order of items and separators) can be solved easily. I hope it's fixed soon. Making the two menus the same is very unlikely.
