Description Tristan Miller 2006-04-15 22:28:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Sometimes a network error occurs when connecting to the news server to download an article. In this case, KNode displays an error message in the article pane (e.g., "An error occurred. Unable to connect: Operation now in progress"). However, there is no way to try refetching the article except clicking on another article and the back on the first one.

Please add a command named "Reload article" or "Refetch article" to the Article pull-down menu, to the context menu that appears when a user clicks on an article in the article list pane, and to the context menu that appears when a user clicks on the article pane. This command could be enabled all the time, or alternatively only when an error had occurred the last time KNode tried to download the article.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
