Description Robin Green 2006-04-14 00:11:33 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package
OS: Linux

When I pressed CTRL+O and entered the following URL in the Open dialog box:

http://www.comp.nus.edu.sg/~sulzmann/chr/download/existential-popl05.ps.gz

kghostview loaded the file at that URL, but an instance of konqueror was also spawned, and then another, and then another, in an infinite loop. I had to do "killall konqueror" in a terminal. But there was no need to spawn any instances of konqueror!

The initial kghostview process was running as a standalone app, not embedded within konqueror.

Cannot reproduce this in Okular (with a different .ps file from the Internet, since the linked one is not available anymore).
