Description Aaron Solochek 2006-04-13 14:01:09 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

This might be a bug, but for now I'm assuming it's a feature request.

egroupware tasks are divided into 3 types: Todo, Note, and PhoneCall. Notes and Phonecalls are not downloaded in korganizer, but probably ought to appear in the todo list to best mirror how egroupware displays them. The feature request would be explicit support for them (such that you can create them with korganizer) but short of that, simply displaying all the tasks in korganizer would be nice.

Notes from eGroupware can be read with KNotes, so that's not really a task for KOrganizer. However, I wonder how to interpret Phone Calls. Are they more similar to notes than to to-dos?

In eGroupWare, notes, to-dos, and phone calls are all part of the "info log" module. They're treated basically the same by the web interface, apart from their label and icon.

Where can you configure knotes to gets notes from egroupware?

Reassigning all KOrganizer bug reports and wishes to the newly created
korganizer-devel mailing list.
