Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1) It is possible to mark threads as ignored. To which extent this affects mail reading (beyond the icon showed next to ignored messages) is however unclear. There is a dropdown list next to the Quick find text field. It can be used to limit the message view to messages with a certain status or flag, for example Replied or Watched. Among the filters you can choose from is also Ignored. That doesn't make sense. You don't ignore a thread in order to be able to find it easier. I suggest that a filter mode that shows all threads *except* those ignored be added, optionally replacing the current "Show ignored" mode, and optionally being made the default mode. See also bug 117997.
Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented. Thank you for your understanding.
Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
Kmail2 still works exactly the same, so this wish is still current. You can ignore threads, but that doesn't seem to have any practical effect.
