Description andu 2006-04-07 21:36:01 UTC
Version: 2.2.1 (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
OS: Linux

There are two major ways to present (organise) a music collection. One is to organise it according to artists, albums, genres, etc. The second one is to organise it using folders.

JuK gives the first way and lacks the second. It would be nice if it can be added this way: After adding a Folder playlist (or just using Collection playlist) I can expand that playlist as a tree view and see subfolders of that folder (from my file system), if I select one of the subfolders, the song list is restricted to that subfolder.

It would be very nice to have a file/folder view mode so that one can play files within a specified folder, such as `~/Music/Classical/Beethoven'.
