Description Gerd v. Egidy 2006-04-05 23:09:59 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I often need to duplicate an existing file in the same directory (with a different name of course). e.g. for saving different revisions under different names.

I previously used KDE 3.3 and it was easy: just dragging the file around in the same dir holding the ctrl key (the + sign appears). I got asked for a new name and that was it.

Now I get the errormessage "The source and destination are the same file.". There is no way to enter a new name and duplicate the file.

Please re-introduce this feature.
