Description Maciej Pilichowski 2006-04-05 10:09:17 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Please add rectangular selection mode /available via menu however also configurable with shortcuts so user could choose that, example, [alt]+[LMB]+[mouse] is such mode/.
It would be extremely helpful while working with tables.

Would be interesting to have it for tables. Firefox has it, I think.
Comment 2 Médéric Boquien 2009-07-09 01:52:02 UTC
I confirm this is still missing in KDE 4.3 FF can select columns in tables when pressing ctrl-alt (just like in konsole). This would be very convenient.

Dear user,

KHTML (and KJS) was a long time more or less unmaintained and got removed in KF6.

Please migrate to use a QWebEngine based HTML component.

We will do no further fixes or improvements to the KF5 branches of these components beside important security fixes.

For security issues, please see:

https://kde.org/info/security/

Sorry that we did not fix this issue during the life-time of KHTML.

Greetings
Christoph Cullmann
