Version:           0.11.1 (using KDE 3.5.2, Gentoo)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.4.5 (Gentoo 3.4.5-r1, ssp-3.4.5-1.0, pie-8.7.9)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-gentoo-r1

I have this problem now since 3.4.1 I think.

Every time I add a contact to ICQ, I get an empty metacontact.

But this seems to happen only with my account.
I have just tried another one of my brother, and this seems to work.

This happens with any contact I add.
Are there any strange flags?

Does anybody know of this?

Do you need captured packets? I am willing to help fixing this problem.

compiling kopete with --enable-debug passed to configure (in addition to the normal parameters) and capturing the output of the add contact attempt would be the most useful thing.
