Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.3) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.3.6 (Gentoo 3.3.6, ssp-3.3.6-1.0, pie-8.7.8) OS: Linux I have a hundred or so shared folders on an IMAP server, only a few of which I subscribe to. If I quit Kmail and reload it, it will forget which folders I'm subscribed to and resubscribe to ALL of them. This can get pretty annoying, because it goes and gets header information for more than 10,000 messages that I don't care about, and I have to go though and unsubscribe to all those folders only to have them forgotten again. (it would be nice if there were a way to unsubscribe from a whole tree of folders, or change a whole tree's "Include this folder in mail checks" setting, but that's something for the wishlist).
I've never seen this happen. I have lots of folders and never has KMail lost the subscription information.
I've found that this doesn't happen every time if I just quit Kmail. It does seem to happen every time Kmail crashes, or if I log out or restart from the KDE "End Session" dialog. Is there some unusual setup I might have that might trigger this? Where is the subscription information stored? Worst case scenario, if I knew where it was stored I could back up the file and restore it if when it happens again.
