Description Maxilys 2006-03-29 14:43:12 UTC
Version: 3.5.2 (using KDE 3.5.2 Level "a" , SUSE 10.0 UNSUPPORTED)
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-15.7-default

In KDE 3.5.1, it was still possible to duplicate a file while copying it in its current directory. (I used to just do CTRL+C then CTRL+V.) Konqueror then proposed to rename it.

Why can't we do this any more? I tried with the shortcuts, the right-click menu, a split view. That's just impossible now.

Why has this function been removed? It's useful to create a backup of file with a different name, for example.
